The long awaited year-end social and AGM notice has arrived! We are planning a full day of Rebels fun. Hopefully you can come to part or all of it. Here are the details:

3pm: “Backyard” Bocce and Croquet Tourney @ Sharon’s Backyard

5pm: Tournament Awards & AGM @ Sharon’s House

6pm: BBQ Dinner & SingStar Competition @ Sharon’s House

November 25th is the 100th Grey Cup - what a great excuse to have a party!

The first Rebels social event of the season is here!
And it's just in time for HALLOWEEN!!!

The new 2012 season is upon us.

We are still looking for players for all of our teams. We have a team for every skill level.

We have a welcome back practice on Thursday, September 13th at 8pm at UVic.
Women's games start on Saturday, September 15th.
Men's games start on Sunday, September 16th.

Don't forget to register with field hockey BC before your first game!

Summer Drop-In will be starting the first week of June! This is recreational mixed play – all levels are welcome. We just throw the sticks in a pile and divide them into teams. It’s a fun way to keep a stick in the game through the summer, get back into the sport, or give it a try for the first time.

WHAT: Drop In Field Hockey
WHEN: Monday Nights, June 4 to August 27 (no sessions on July 2 or August 6 long weekends)
TIME: 7:00 TO 8:30 p.m.
WHERE: UVIC Water based turf
COST: $5 per session or $40 for the whole summer

Please remember to wear the appropriate equipment (shin-guards and mouth-guards), and bring both a light and a dark shirt (so we can tell the teams apart).

Two of our Rebels Women's Teams have made it to the finals being played on Saturday!

There will be a lot of exciting hockey being played on Saturday (March 31st) at the UVic turf.  The finals for all three divisions of women's fieldhockey are being played.

First up at 10am is the division 3 finals between the Ravens and the Kestrels.

Next up at 12pm our very own Bluejays are taking on the Sailors for the division 2 title.

And finally at 2pm our division 1 team, the Patriots, are playing the Mariners for their division title.

Good luck to everyone playing on Saturday! Bring home some trophies for our club!
